明勵志神父 Luigi Minella, S.J.

1911年9月17日，一位澳門的慈愛牧者和教育家、意大利籍耶穌會士明勵志神父在德國誕生。明神父於1930年加入耶穌會初學院，1939到達我國中華大地福傳。他於1945晉鐸後，於安徽蚌埠的崇正中學任教，並在1951年到達香港，之後轉抵澳門。當時眼見本澳貧困兒童眾多，懷着基督大愛的明神父於1955秋正式開辦利瑪竇小學，從此為本澳培育出一代又一代優秀卓越，且德智兼備的青年領袖。我們感謝天主賜予澳門明神父這位慈愛的牧者和教育家，為當時本澳的貧困學生提供接受優質教育的機會。爲此，我們同聲祈禱，祈求上主眷顧下一代的教育。
