Today, the members of the Congregation elect the Secretary and his two Assistants for the rest of their work together. These three members will take charge of the running of the sessions. A group of members called “Deputatio ad negotia” will also be elected; it is in charge of the presentation of the topics to be discussed.  During the afternoon this group will make some starting proposals for the agenda of the following days; specific responsibilities will also be given to the Assistancies.
