On March 4, Father Jean Lefeuvre, S.J., was awarded the « Médaille de commandeur des Arts et des Lettres », a decoration granted by the French Minister of Culture in appreciation for his contribution to the Grand Dictionnaire Ricci and other works on Chinese Culture. The President of the French Institute in Taiwan presented the medal to Father Lefeuvre in the name of the French Government.
